hmmm well NYC isnt centrally located, even though I would love to go there... :D

I guess Denver or St Louis would be the most centrally located...

though I do have the only beach you can drive a car, dunebuggy, motorcycle on in my neck of the woods... camping is great here too ...and I spent a lot of years in Denver, could do some hunting down dead relatives in St Louis and see family along the way.... wouldnt mind a trip up north either...

so Im pretty much good just about anywhere...

Well, from Geo's list, I too would pick St. Louis, because of the central location, (and I'm a city girl ;) ). Love California and would enjoy re-visiting Mom also. New York City is MY first choice though. Have never been and always wanted to, plus, we would have 5 hosts! How cool is that? :-bd B-)

I have been there: 42nd street; Manhattan, Brooklin - spent a summer in the Adrondaks and lots of time in Verona, NJ and the Jersey shore. So Russ, put your ideas down with justifications. I can't camp in NYC and the thought of trying scares the crap out of me. I bet the hotel rates are outrageous in the city, so are you 5 putting the rest of us up?
