Unless you're a cross dresser, turn join the party. Okay girls, this is a multiple bra question. First, have you ever been measured in a store? I always wondered if I figured out the right size so in Victoria's Secret's one day the saleswoman measured me, I'm a 36C but I was wearing a 38C which to me also fits. Yesterday I bought new lingerie and got the most beautiful beach towel so peeps, you should buy your summer stuff now, smiling. Here is my other question, front closure or back closure? I'm pissed because VS changed their material for my favorite bra, ughhhhhhh. Any opinions?

I prefer one piece bodysuits to just bras alone - they bother my gall bladder scar, because the band always seems to sit right on it. The latest thing now, is "control top" spandex camisoles, which I love! Better than the bodysuit - no hooks! B-) (and they smooth the midriff just as well). Also, they seem to have rejuvenated my boobs - gives them a nice little lift. ;) Of course, you're in GREAT shape, Bewitched, (judging by all the photos I've seen), and don't have that "middle-aged spread" problem. :)) :)) Have never been measured, but, did it myself and fluctuate between 38 C and 40C, depending on weight gain/loss, (an ongoing battle... :( )

Thanks Deb, the only thing that working out can't really help is a C section scar that's horizontal, I'm thinking of getting a tummy tuck to lose it, my haircutter was showing me hers in the salon, well not the whole thing, lol and it looked awesome, like a 19 year olds, smiling, plus get this, they give you a new belly button, lol. You're absolutely right about different one pieces or bras giving a better shape, braless is really bad. When I was pregnant my Doc gave me invaluable advice, he said sleep with a bra, which has worked, keeps the shape. Hey this is fun, no guys can answer, lol.

=)) =)) =)) =)) You're soo funny Grammaw! :D :ymhug: I would have thought "Nearly A" would've been able to defy gravity. :p

@ Bewitched; Too late for me! :(( I don't like to sleep in underwear - very uncomfortable. Oh well, they're not THAT bad. ;) As for the scar; in my opinion, you should wear your scars like medals. They give you character and show that you've LIVED! B-)

We have a close friend who works for VS. We were talking about this subject the other day. lol It was my son who asked, how do ya know the cup size? She said there is mathmatical formula. :-o You measure underneath the breasts, and add 4, that is your band size, and then you measure the fullness of your breasts, Take the take the fullness measurement, and subtract the band size, and the chart below tells you your cup size.

Example:
Step 1: 34" under measurement +4" = 38" band
Step 2: 40" over measurement
Step 3: 40" - 38" = 2" or Cup "B"
Your size would be 38B

If The Difference Is: Your Standard Cup Size Is:
0"-1/2" (1.3 cm) AA
1/2"- 1" (2.6 cm) A
2" (5.1 cm) B
3" (7.6 cm) C
4" (10.2 cm) D
5" (12.7 cm) DD or E

(My question was, what about all that stuff that has fallen, and spread out, like the boobige that's now under your arms. :-s :)) :)) :))) She didn't quite know what to say. ;)

Happy measuring girls. :D

As much as I hate to say it, I know it is something you least want to hear but the only thing I can think of to really help that area are......pull-up's, push-up's and butterfly's.

Good luck and happy exercising. :)
They don't call it work-out for nothing. :(

A dear, remember I am disabled, and I can't even use my arms in the swimming pool. :-o I wear a ring so I don't drown in the deep end. So pull ups, push ups are totally out of the question.

If I really cared about it, (the underarm booblige,) I would use underwire, but I don't. :)) :)) I figure, there is a reason the Good Lord, wants it all there, and who am I to question him. :)) :)) :))

MamaV, I love your attitude. I say it to russ all the time. Podnah and Mac, you don't know just how lucky you are...Yes, I was measured, ages ago, and the measurement is no longer valid. Then, 36B now, 38C...

Boobs that big usually have a lot of fat, so the person needs to goon a diet.

Oh yeah, lol My students (3 and 4 year old, special needs) loved my skwishy belly, and bossom, great place to cuddle, and take a nap. If I sat on the floor with them for too long, I would end up with two or three fighting over who got the best place in my lap. :))

Now the grandkids, love that nice soft skwishy lap. Many is the time that Oma had just the right touch to put the little ones down for a nap. I have just the right amount of padding, and built in pillows, and big ol fat Mama arms, to make em feel safe. ;) :)) :)) :))
